Do you have a team?

We have a great pro team ready to help you feel and look your best on your wedding day.  Each person on our team is hand-selected and trained by Shawna.  Each one of them has worked alongside Shawna to prepare them for our brides needs and to teach them Shawna’s signature looks.  We focus on offering our brides the best customer service.  We feel like we end up walking away with a new friend.  We are able to handle larger parties because of our amazing team.  Everyone on our team has been thoroughly trained in hair and makeup for weddings.

When is the best time to book?

The sooner the better.  We book out the year prior to most of our weddings.  There are some instances where we are able to book closer to the event, but it is only if the date is available.

What are the steps to book your services?

When you are ready to book, we ask that you fill out the Bride inquiry form.  You’ll then receive an email from Mona, our wedding coordinator with a look at the services requested and total cost.  After this Mona will send you over your proposal, if everything looks good you will sign and pay your deposit (50% of services).  At this point your date is reserved.

How long will my services take?

On average our services take 40 minutes for each service.  We could work faster but it is also about offering a luxury experience for our Brides.  We don't want them to feel like we are rushing through any of the booked services.

What are Concierge Services?

Concierge services extend the luxury experience past the initial hair and makeup services - offering support and assisting during photos, repositioning the dress and or the hair, helping protect the makeup from tears, and touching up where and when needed.  Our goal is to make sure you are looking your best till you walk down the aisle.  This service is specifically designed for our Brides.

Do you travel?

Yes we do!  Mileage will be charged at a rate of $2.00 per mile from where the artist/team is based.  Non-wedding day services and previews are held at our studio in Meridian, ID.  We are open to traveling world wide for wedding day services.

How does timing work for the wedding day?

We will curate a detailed timeline for your wedding day services once we know the timing of when you will need to be finished with hair and makeup.  We work directly with your planner or photographer to create a customized timeline for each Bride.  We like to give the Bride some time after beauty services to relax and to have a chance to take in the excitement of the day.  

Are false lashes included?

Yes lashes are part of the makeup service we offer our brides.  We carry a large variety of strip lashes as well as individual lashes for varying lengths to allow for custom lashes on each guest.

Can you hold my date?

The demand for our services during peak wedding months is very high, and for that reason dates can not be held for any period of time.  Our availability is offered on a first come, first served basis and are only secured by completing the contract signing along with your paid retainer.

Do you offer any discounts?

Due to our services being in high demand all of our rates are firm and non-negotiable.

What products do you use?

All of the products in our kits are professional quality and have been carefully selected for their ability to photograph beautifully while still maintaining a natural, fresh finish.  We love Jane Iredale makeup.  Jane Iredale is a makeup that is good for the skin - equal parts clean ingredients, skin-loving benefits and no-fade performance.  We believe beauty can perform without harmful toxins.  Beauty can strengthen the skin with beneficial botanical ingredients. And beauty that can bring out your absolute best.  Each of the Jane Iredale products are free from fragrances and fillers that can cause irritation, it is one of the only makeup products safe enough to use the same day as a chemical peel.  Not only does it have amazing benefits for your skin but it also protects your skin with built in SPF.  Some of the other brands in our kit are Temptu Airbrush Systems, NARS, Charlotte Tillbury, MAC Cosmetics, Tom Ford, Makeup by Mario, Natasha Denona, Makeup forever, Dior, Bobbi Brown and Chanel.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

Yes, our Luxury bride package includes airbrush makeup to create a flawless finish.

Is a preview appointment required?

Although we don't require a preview we do highly recommend them.  Not only does it allow for the artist to have a solid plan going into the day of schedule but it also sets us up for success with the look and feel desired for all the guests.

Do you offer additional services?

Yes we do!  In addition to your wedding day we are also available for engagement photos, boudoir sessions, and rehearsal dinner services as well.  These sessions are a great addition to your bridal services.
